The spaces between who we think we are and who we actually become when everything falls apart: that's the territory I explore.

Former gym owner, current nomadic equity trader, I've been learning how to start over after business failure, family estrangement, and the kind of losses that change the frequency of everything else.

Through my travels, I examine what's left when everything you thought you were falls apart.

My essays explore the psychology of chosen constraints, the economics of meaning, and the particular loneliness of being privileged enough to refuse your own advantages.

These moments when our carefully constructed narratives about ourselves collapse fascinate me. What we find underneath, how we rebuild, whether we even should.

I'm currently working on a collection of essays about nomadic masculinity, grief, and the discipline of starting over.

When I'm not writing, I'm usually reading, training in some gym somewhere, or standing in places that make me feel appropriately small.
